about armargo

Hello, I am Margarita Kalinovska and I have founded Artmargo student consulting in the early 2020.

I was originally trained as a classical violinist, however in a course teenage years, I realized that my passion for painting has outweighed any interest towards music. Hence, I decided to study fine art and purchase career as a painter. Of course as a first step, i had to find an art school. Soon enough, this task, which seemed easy at first, grew into an unexpected challenge. I was baffled when I discovered that no art school was suitable for me in the Czech Republic. Thus, I started searching for other options. This research led me promptly to Germany – i traveled there on many occasions and visited a fair amount of art colleges and talked to professors and students in Berlin, München, Dresden, Halle, Leipzig, Hamburg, Vienna and other cities. After some time, I understood what was going on in the fine art educational system. Not only I have found the academy that fits me but i also acquired an overview of art schools in German-speaking area. I didn’t seize to explore German art colleges during my studies as I am genuinely interested in manifolds of approaches towards art education. At the same time, I have been actively participating in projects initiatives such as large-scale exhibition project mehrzahl.art, which organizes opportunities for young artists to exhibit.

Several students from Czech Republic and Hong Kong have approached me about how to get into an art school in Germany. And after helping them, I started piling all the info I knew into a structuralized preparation system that includes not only formation of portfolios, but also planing out application process while learning what the German art professors actually look in students for – all that in form of a virtual sessions at artmargo.eu!
